What sets Prestige Personal Training apart from others in home trainers as well as trainers in a gym setting?
Prestige Personal Training is different because we cater to you. We will bring all the equipment to the privacy of your home, office or semi-private facility. Many trainers in a gym setting will not cater to their client. With an in home setting trainers are free of most distractions that often occur in the gym and are able to focus more on the 1 on 1 aspect of personal training. Our trainers have gone through numerous courses in anatomy, physiology, and the biomechanical makeup of the human body in order to develop the most efficient program for you.

What are the benefits of an in-home training experience?
1. The luxury and privacy of your own home, office, or semi-private facility.
2. Avoids the distractions and inconveniences of gyms or extra fees.
3. Eliminates travel time and helps maximize your fitness time with the personal trainer.
4. Easier to fit personal training into your busy schedule.
5. Provided exercise equipment for your personalized session.

How do I choose a trainer? I hear about all these certifications, but do they really make a difference?
The most important factor when choosing a personal trainer is their degree and certification. Their degree should be from an accredited college, and the degree should also have a background in human anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and exercise prescription techniques. A certification is also another key element in choosing a trainer. The most respected certifications are from organizations such as American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), and the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). There may be other quality certifications; however the certifications listed above are the most respected in the field. Certifications are very important in that they require trainers to go through continuing education. When choosing a trainer here are things to look out for:

1. You should be skeptical of trainers who insist on working out during the first session.
2. Watch out for trainers that are hesitant to provide proof of credentials.
3. Make sure the trainer provides insurance when questioned about it (don’t take his word).
4. Time is extremely important to a workout so make sure the trainer is punctual about appointments.
5. Advancements in education and technology are important so make sure your trainer keeps up with current research in the field of exercise science.

What if I do not have any equipment in my home?
Prestige Personal Trainers will bring the equipment to you. Each of our personal trainers has a variety of equipment from resistance bands to dumbbells. Our trainers also carry a number of pieces of equipment that improve balance as well as proprioception such as foam rolls, bosus, balance boards, medicine balls and much more.

Will working out in my home or semi private facility limit my workout in terms of intensity and variety?
This will not limit your workouts. Our trainers are able to accomplish as much if not more than a typical gym session can offer you. Too often, training in a gym becomes repetitive because of the convenience of a machine. Many of these machines target specific muscle groups and are not multifunctional. The trainers at Prestige Personal Training have a variety of multifunctional exercises to prevent your muscles from becoming familiar with traditional lifts. While working with Prestige Personal Training you will work muscles you never knew you had.

What does a workout consist of and how long is it?
1. A brief warm-up.
2. Full body workout including strength training, resistance band training, med ball training and much more.
3. The conclusion of the session consists of stretching.

Jesse has been my trainer and fitness adviser since April 2009. Since that time he has given me knowledge about proper fitness technique and about my own potential during my weekly workout session. I have found that he is understanding and is not judgmental of my fitness level. Every week I look forward to my workout with Jesse. It reminds me of going to a magic show and wondering what he is going to pull out of his gym bag! If you are looking for a personal trainer to challenge you in ways you never thought possible then I highly recommend Prestige Personal Training.

I am a middle aged woman, and for the last 2 years I have enjoyed working out with Jesse 3 days per week. I am very pleased with the improvement in my body composition over this time. Jesse tailors my workout to my needs and my goals, and he accommodates any health issues that may occasionally arise.

I prefer a challenging workout, and he always delivers using a variety of fitness equipment and disciplines. He uses functional, multi-functional, balance, aerobic, and core exercises, and my workouts are never routine or repetitive which I appreciate. For me, it's easier to approach a workout when you don't know exactly what you're in for, but you have confidence it will be well rounded and not boring.

Jesse is very knowledgeable. Even though he works me very hard (my choice), he takes great care to ensure my form and technique are correct thus preventing injuries. He is dependable and flexible, and does his best to accommodate my sometimes hectic schedule. Jesse is personable, genuine and just plain nice. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Prestige Personal Training offers a unique experience in that they bring the workout to you. Jesse removes the obstacles and excuses by providing flexible scheduling that makes the individual succeed. His ability to break down the barriers and motivate you beyond getting it over is refreshing and very successful.

The workouts are ever changing with a good balance of the exercises that I like and ones that keep me the most challenged. My strength and stamina have increased and my desire to improve has gotten stronger. I can't imagine trying to go back to a more traditional training situation where I would go to a gym to meet a trainer and workout. The convenience of working out at home is not as important as the fact that you are able to fit these workouts into a already busy lifestyle.

Jesse's professional manner and personality, sets him apart from the other trainers that I have used in the past. My success is defined by his involvement.

When we bought a home gym, we wanted someone to work with us to insure correct use of the equipment. We signed up with Jesse for 'a few sessions' and have been working with him every week for more than 4 months now. Jesse challenges us with different workouts every session; and he pushes us to complete a better workout than we would do on our own. He is flexible in scheduling to fit into our busy work and travel schedule and his personality keeps us talking through the session so the 30 minutes go by fast.

Jesse from Prestige Personal Training was such a motivating, challenging trainer. Each session was something new and innovative, all the while keeping my workout fun. He made each hour enjoyable, yet still a great workout. I would definitely recommend Jesse at Prestige to anyone that wants a challenging and fun workout that is tailored to your needs and fitness levels.
